In the Himalayas, you will find the Yeti, Mt. Everest, the Dalai Lama and the Snow Leopard. The most recent addition to this disconnected group is a handful of pioneering Mt. Bikers . who have silently discovered the wonders of this nature park in the sky.

India’s Himalayas, in particular, provide some of the worlds wildest uphills, downhills and offroad rides. All this while you’re in the midst of an ever changing, but always spectacular landscape. One day you speed down the lush green valleys of the Manali region and a couple of days later you are surrounded by the intimidating moonscape of Ladakh. For those who choose to ride in India’s North East, a subtropical mountain region awaits your arrival. Either way, you will often find yourself stopping just to absorb and admire what your eyes have just seen as you let out an unconscious…”wow” under your breath.

Daily distances range from 30 to 80 km with each day offering its own challenges. Those with extra energy always have the option of hitting one of the thousand offroad tracks that form a manic network around the region.
